What is the process for implant dentures?
The first step is to contact our team to schedule a complimentary consultation, where we’ll determine if you’re a good candidate for dental implants. If you’re a candidate, the next step is a records appointment, where we take detailed photos, scans, and impressions to plan your surgery. After your implant surgery, you’ll receive a temporary prosthetic within 12 hours to restore appearance while you heal. Once healing is complete, we’ll deliver your final prosthetic crafted from premium zirconia—a strong, highly aesthetic material designed for long-term durability and a natural look.
Does getting dental implants hurt?
Most patients are pleasantly surprised at how little discomfort they feel after getting dental implants. While some tenderness and swelling are normal in the first few days, the pain is usually very manageable with over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Our go to medication for dental pain is Dual Action Advil. Dr. Kelvin and our team take every step to ensure your comfort during and after the procedure. If you have any concerns or experience unexpected discomfort, Dr. Kelvin is available outside of business hours to support you. You're never alone in your recovery — we're here for you every step of the way.
Is this done under sedation?
Not all patients require sedation, but your comfort is always our priority. Most full mouth dental implant procedures are performed using local anesthesia, which keeps the area completely numb during surgery. For patients who feel anxious or prefer a deeper level of relaxation, we also offer oral conscious sedation and IV sedation through our trusted partnership with a local mobile anesthesia group. We’ll discuss your preferences and medical history during your consultation to determine the best option for you.
Is there a warranty on the implant denture?
We stand behind the quality of our work. Our final zirconia prosthetics come with a 10-year warranty, covering fractures or material defects under normal use. Regular maintenance and hygiene visits are required to keep the warranty active. We’re committed to providing long-term results you can trust.
